A Special Thanks
I'd like to dedicate this portion of my site to the people that helped make my trip to Japan possible. Thank you for your encouragement and support.

Chie Iwamoto, for being a great girlfriend and planning awesome adventures during my visit in Japan. There's no doubt that I will remember this for the rest of my life and I hope that we will have many great journeys together in our future. Thank you.

Brandon DeLeva(my brother-in-law, friend and business partner), for making it possible for me to conduct business from abroad for over a month now, I appreciate all your sacrifice to make this trip possible.

My Family
, for supporting me in my journey to the other side of the earth, always encouraging me to seek out the best that life has to offer and of course for throwing me a fantastic bon voyage party before I left.

My Clients
, for arranging their hectic schedules to work with mine and enjoying the work I do for them from wherever I may be. Your business will always be appreciated.

Last but not least, a Big Thanks goes to:
The Iwamoto Family, for consistently going out of their way to make sure I had an excellent time with them, as well as planning unique adventures that made my stay in Japan the best that anyone could expect to have. A special thanks goes to Chie's Father for his kindness and hospitality.

The Rice Harvest

This is a co-op that Chie's parents are participants of and I was glad to be a part of this years harvest. It was definitely hard work, I put my belly up to the bar and I think I was able to gain the respect of her family and maybe also the other co-op owners. I'd like to come back next year when they plant the rice, hope I can do that. No doubt that this was an experience I won't soon forget.

Hot Springs

I think this was probably one of my favorite parts of Japan. Chie's parents took us to this really amazing location, it was a small town that was basically built around the hot springs. The hotel that we stayed in had two right inside the hotel. Her parents really planned it well, as my muscles were worn to the bone after the rice harvest, the hot springs took away all my pain. I think I could live in a hot spring.

Camping in Japan

Another cool experience. Chie and I drove up to the mountains to enjoy a day of fishing and then spent the night camping out. I can't believe I actually drove a JP car, on the other side of the rode no doubt, thankfully no one was injured. We only caught one fish, the picture to the left; it was the smallest fish I've ever seen get hooked, lol. Luckily we had the foresight to buy some food at the local grocery store, we enjoyed a nice evening of grilled fish, meat and vegtables. It was great.

Tour of Kyoto

Kyoto was an amazing place to visit. We saw just about all the famous temples and shrines in the area. The work that went into building these places of worship is pretty amazing; the detail and landscape blew me away. You would imagine that these locations are deep within the forest but it's interesting because they're all located right in the heart of the city but you wouldn't be able to tell from inside. Hope you enjoy the pics.

Dining Experiences

Japanese food is definitely some of the best tasting in the world. There's no doubt that most people in the US have little experience in regards to real Japanese food, I myself thought that most Japanese ate Sushi everyday and that there really wasn't much else to talk about... Boy was I mistaken. Here are just a few pictures of some dishes I ate while on my visit.
